400ex is leakin gas out of overflow

My 400ex i just bought is leaks gas really bad after i ride it. but after it sits for a while its fine. IM gonna try cleaning it out

Sounds like the float in your carb is stuck.

take the carb off and give it a good cleaning.;)

i hit it with a screwdriver and cleaned everything out very very good. Still leaks after i run it really bad

i only takes a piece of junk the size of a needle tip to get stuck in the carb needle and doesnt stop the flow of gas. i found a little peice of rubber that i put on my finger and had to squint to see it. take carb apart and spray it down good and take the needle out and clean everything real good.
