What should I do.

My 300ex is all stock except for the megamax II exhaust. What can I do (that won't cost a lot of money) to it to make it a little faster on the track. Should I get a 14 tooth sprocket, if i did this, how much top end would I lose. I mostly do woods riding and I just want to a have a little bit of an advantage when I race.

The stock front sprocket on a 300ex is a 13 tooth, going to a 14 tooth will give you more top speed/ less low end power.

If you haven't already, mod/remove the airbox lid and jet accordingly.
