I am not wanting to run an aftermarket airbox but was thinking of running a K&N lid or if someone wants to sell an HRC air lid I would like to know or any other ideas would be helpful

If you look around on, ebay, and some of the other sites you should be able to find a HRC lid. I have seen a few sell for $10-15 bucks. So that would be alot cheaper than buying an aftermarket one. I have also seen a couple stock lids that people made into a HRC. All you have to do is cut that section out, and make a mud flap out of some plastic.

I took my HRC lid and cut the middle out about one inch from the edge all of the way around and covered the opening with a fine stainless screen rivoting around edges. It should breathe like the lid is off but keeps all of the grime off of the filter and most of the water out. Kept stock lid to wash bike with.:)
