Ok I have put the new jets into the carb but I had a buddy helping me and he removed the air fuel screw from the bike? I don’t know if I need to tighten it all the way or how many turns? Thanks in advance for your help.

what are you calling the air fuel needle? the only thing i can think of is the fuel screw, idle adjustment, or the needle jet holder (what the mainjet screws into).

i believe you need to re seat the screw, and back it off 2 1/2 turns to start with.

dont over tighten it, just seat it lightly

yep, that sounds about right. the farther out you come, the richer (more fuel) the jetting will be at low rpm's. if you have some aftermarket parts on the bike, you may need to be richer than 2.5 turns out if your using a stock 38 slow jet.
