adj valves

put in a new cam, adj valves, exhast are easy, intakes are a pain, do i reinstal the cam and chain to hold the cam, because it keeps rooling when insterting the feeler gauge and posible opening the valve, they seem loose, help please

You need to completely install cam and torque down holder before you check adjustment on valves. Yes, exhaust are easier to get to. Intake is not bad either. You just need a longer feeler guage to slide under intake valve between bucket and cam. Make sure motor is at top-dead-center on compression stroke. If you're not sure, turn motor until exhaust valves are full open and adjust intake, and have intake valves open to adjust exhaust. Good luck;)
