300ex carb vent hose ?

Was working on the carb on our 300ex and when I went to put it back I realised I didnt know where the vent hose on the carb goes. this is the 1/8" hose that comes out the side of the carb at the top, not the drain hose at the bottom.

Do I let it run down the frame behind the engine, or loop it back up toward the gas tank or what?

If it's the overflow it hust goes back by the swing arm. If you put it above the carb you'll flud the motor!
