I got a 93 banshee that just got all rebuilt. well last weekend i went out on the lake riding and my brother wanted a ride so i gave him one across the lake. well we got across and i had no power. i looked down and my chain tightened up so much that it pulled my front sprocket off. i have it all fixed now but it seems like it takes forever to wind up. Any body know something that could of went wrong?

Well before this happened it seemed like when you hit the throttle it was right there but now when you give it it kind of blubbers out and then starts to wind up but takes a while to get to high rpms

sounds like water in the airbox.....but i dont think it would stay in there that long.

I'd clean your carbs out real good. Make sure the choke tube connecting the carbs is still in place. Then I'd look into checking the clutch.
