Will the crank be OK???

I just got my 400ex crank back from a GT Thunder rebuild and it was damaged. The shaft that the oil pump and timing gears go on has 2 splines that look like they were gouged during the rebuild. The gears slide on with no problem. It appears that they will be fine b/c there's so many splines and there shouldn't be that much stress on the shaft. The only thing that worries me is the timing gear. But, the gouges don't go far enough down to reach the timing gear. What's you guys opinion on this. I'll posts pics when I get home from work. you should be okay..:)

if it were me, id be doing 1 of 2 things, and that would be eaither, *****ing to ups or *****ing to gt thunder, if you didnt do it and you didnt ship it out like that, one of those 2 people are responsible (or whoever the shipping carrier was)
