I HAVE THE LTE EXHAUST ON MY 04 400 EX AND I LOVE IT LOOKS SWEET AND SOUNDS GREAT PERFOMANCE IS A LOT BETTER THAN STOCK NEVER TRIED ANY OTHER PIPES SO REALLY CANT COMPARE IT TO ANY.I AM TAKING PICS SUNDAY BEFORE I PULL STOCK PLASTIC OFF I WILL POST THEN.

ALOT LOUDER THAN STOCK IF YOU DONT PUT THE BAFFLES IN TO TAKE IT DOWN TO LIKE 98db I THINK 90 SOMETHING ANYWAY WITHOUT THOSE I HAD TO WEAR EARPLUGS ON LONG RIDES.

BIGDAWG822: Do you have any engine work done to your EX? I'm thinking of getting the LTE's before soon and then come end of summer see about boring my 400 to a 416. Also, where did you get them from and what did you pay for everything (including the baffles)?

NO MOTOR WORK AT ALL,FOUND GUY ON EBAY SELLIN THESE DONT REMEMBER HIS NAME BUT COST LIKE 625.00 FOR COMPLETE SYSTEM WITH EVERYTHING YA NEED INCLUDING NEW AIRBOX,JETS FOR CARB, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

I've had them over a year now and will not go to anything else!!!Much quieter than the others I've used (FMF, DMC White Bros) and I love the power delivery!!

im not ineterstd in buying them at all but have heard that u dont really gain that much power a regularhmf white bros fmf etc full system gives u more

They give about 0.0-0.5hp more than a good aftermarket exhaust. I think I saw that in a dirtwheels shootout. Anyway most people get them for looks and sound and its not like they take any power away. Remember you usually choose an exhaust on specific characteristics so what is the best for one person isn't always the best for everyone.

I love my LTE system, and would not trade it for anything. Yes, the power gains over other aftermarket systems is slim, but that is with the LTE system quiet. With out the quiet core, they are in the 101-103dB range, and with the core, way below 93dB. The real nice thing about the LTE system, the more you mod the motor, the better they respond.

I don't know about that set up. Looks kind of gay imho. Looks like tractor trailer smoke stacks back there. Why would you want 2 hot pipes on each side of your quad? I'm sure it can't be that great of an improvement after it gets hot for an air cooled engine. Something you would see a Raptor or a V force sporting. Something else to break too. But what ever. Reminds me of duals on a 6 cylinder Camaro.

Yea ive talked to people that have ran fmf systems and stuff and switched to ltes and said they jetted i right and the other systems were way better i feel its more of a showquad typr thing casual rider.
