hey everyone, i just bought an Alba Racing full pipe kit for my quad. I've installed everything but i can't seem to get it to run right at hi revs. it cuts out at about 3\4 throttle in all my gears. Does this mean i am gettin too much air, or too much fuel? i've adjusted the air fuel mixture screw to the pipe company's standards, but i'm stumped. could anyone help me out?

it might sound stupid but, check to see if your choke is on. that happend to me and i ripped apart the entire quad because it wouldnt run right, and the choke was on.

no the choke isnt on. The quad starts great even better that before with stock exhaust. I dont think its back firing it seems to be cutting out.

you didn't mention if you re-jetted it.

if you have, what main jet size did you go to and what elevation are you at.

yeh just go back and check the jetting on the bike but i forgot what thing controlls the throttle at 3/4 ask some one but surely it is you jettting.

You have too large of a main jet. Go down one main jet at a time until it stops. If it is backfiring, you are too lean and did to go up in size.

i just put in the jets that came with the pipe. It is the alba pipe with header k&n and no airbox lid.

That doesn't mean that they were the correct jets. Those jets were to get you in the ballpark and the rest is up to you.

:huh Please dont give wrong information If his machine cuts out before it even gets to the rev limiter how will a high rev box help at all??? Some proper jetting is in need here.
