How come there's no dust coming off your quad? Where's the quads shadow? Why is the dude on the cycle looking at the jump and not the quad?

fishy

Yes, but typically the dust will carry off the jump with the quad following it some ways.

If I am wrong, my apologies to 2001300exguy, I mean no offense.

but some critical thinking is required when looking at this photo. the edges are too hard on the tires, one of the front wheels appears to have a flat spot on it.. either from sitting on the ground or cropping. The dpi rating of the quad is higher than the background, meaning that is might have been pasted there. There is the typical "halo" around the quad and rider also suggesting that it was pasted onto the background. This can be seen by manipulating the photo in a graphics program. It's how "ghost skeptics" pick out the fakes.

math shows that if the motorcycle is casting a shadow at that angle, a quad that high in the air would cast a shadow inside the picture frame as well.

If it IS a "photosopped" image, it's really good, but shouldn't be passed off as a "real" photo.

The darker shadow directly behind the bike is the quad shadow. The bike shadow is is lighter and goes from the rear tire to the left side of the bike.

Look at the angle of the shadow from the trees;)

It's easy to criticize a critic:p

stock 300ex suspension sucks!! i snaped mine in half and i dont even really hit huge jumps. climb some pretty big hills tho. look at the bottom of the shocks right about where it bolts to the a-arms there is like 1/8 of an inch holding it together!

on the shocks, which slot do i want the adjuster in, the lowest or highest one

03-05-2005, 11:34 PM
highest for stiffest spring...not that theres any difference, its very small if any
