motor mounts breaking???

If anyone is having problems brekaing frt. motor mounts check this out.....I went through a bunch last year running harescrambles.... I saw a post where a few companys are trying to sell replacements....................before u replace them with expesive parts check out the bottom mount it comes loose easy and is hard to access to check.....if its loose you'll keep snappin mounts!!!

I found that out too. I just had my mounts welded so, I hope they last.

sorry i rushed that yesterday...

the very bottom mount on the engine had an oil line running next to it...its real easy to "forget"to check this bolt since its hard to get at!!! if its loose even a little it will cause the frt. mounts to break every ride!!

My lower mounts cracked too. Checked my bolts & they were loose. I hope that's the problem, loose bolts. I know to keep an eye on them now.

Buy some spare motor mounts @ 6 bucks each:D

thts what walsh told me too , that the bottom mounts come loose,im going to torque mine and inspect it every few rides
