Has anyone removed the sprocket hub on their axle. I want to get it off. It looks like there is a snap ring on one side and you have to get that off first? Which way does it come off also. Thnaks.

take a torch and heat up the hub, it is alluminum, and will expand like twice as fast as the axle, after you have thoughally heated it up, it should all but fall off the axle, and yes there is a C-clip in there

If you are loking at the back of the bike does it move to the left or right.

Press the hub towards the center of the axle just to expose the clip. Then remove the clip so you can press the hub off the axle.

Ya i took the 450 hub off the 450 axle and put it on a LSR400ex axle.

You have to heat the 450 hub and press it off, it doesnt come easy. you have to press it back to undo the snap ring then flip it around and press the hub off the other way. its a pain in the ***

Take it to someone who has a press.... You will be happy that you did.
