When I was choosing an exhaust, volume was a big factor for me. Mainly because I ride in my back yard often and there are alot of people around, so I needed a quite pipe. The White Brothers E-Series slip on is adjustable. It can get pretty quite. I am very happy with mine.

The FMF Q didn't flow any better than my stock silencer. The Q was a waste of money. Purchase a slip on with tuneable discs and you'll be much happier! :)

the HMF with quiet core/sparky set up is supposed the same DB's as the e-series. i had the E on my last 400 and it was a fairly quiet pipe so that would be good to. dont know anybody with the FMF Q so i dont know bout that one, i dont really like FMF tho
