Alright I got a Kodak LS753 camera, and it doesn't have a power cord. I got it from a friend btw. Now I found one in my house that puts out 9.5v, and the camera says DC in 5v. Is it going to fry anything if I use the 9.5 because it will only be drawing 5v, or is the power going to fry the battery/camera?

I wouldn't suggest using the wrong cord, it will probably end up damaging the camera. Just find some place to get the right one.

do NOT insert a plug that is the wrong voltage it will fry the camera. you can order repacement power adapters from most companys web sites.

It will not just pull 5 volts. The cord will send 9.5 volts, and that is what the camera will get. Now if is said 5 volts and 3 amps and the camera only uses 1.5 amps you would be fine. The circuitry will pull the amperage and the power supply will push the voltage.
