i was wondering OVERALL which is better in every situation the 450r,400ex,660r,and yfz450.i would probably use it for just trail riding so tell me which is best overall and in trail riding.

i woud say the 450R if u can get over the kick start and no reverse. If not that go with the 400ex. im glad i got the 450R, torque up the butt lol.

If you are going to just trail ride then i would say deff go with the z400. it was reverse and e-start and has plent of power to trail ride and easy to through around. I used to have one but whiched to the 450r because i started racing. I loved my z but i love my 450r now too.

The new 400ex has reverse and it looks like a 450R, the raptor has alot more power but it is hard to keep the front wheels on the ground and it tips alot more. The other 2 are for racing more than anything else.

The 400 and the 450 are good trail bikes. 400 is nice for the el. start and 450 is nice for the power. If u like to drag sometimes get the 450.:D

yep, IMO quads like the yfz/450r shouldnt be available for recrational trail riding.

why? dont remember what happend 20 yrs ago when we had high HP quads? 250r, lt250, quadzilla
most people dont need that much motor for trail riding. most people buy quads like the yfz, 450r and mainly the raptor because its the baddest and biggest quad out there so they can brag. how often do people actually open up that type of quad in the woods? with as many lawyers as there is out there and peoples "its not my fault" outlook on life its a matter of time before they are under attack again.

why do you need a quad thats designed for racing to joy ride in the woods when there are better machines designed for that use, example the 400ex or the z400. i cant count how many people i have meet that said they got it because they walked in and asked for the fastest one.
