My carb is pissing gas outta the overflow tube.. I cleaned the carb out, I replaced the needle valve for the float, and i made sure the float itself isnt stuck.. I have no idea why it is still pissing out.. Any suggestions?

your float valve is stuck, thats why its leaking.. replace or clean again.. the tinyest peice of gas residue will cause it to stick

thats what causes the fuel to flow the float valve.. is your float hight set properly? its gotta be dirty in there and that valve has got to be stickin..
pull the valve and really give the carb a good cleaning..

btw does it do it when its running? (it shouldnt)

I believe it does when the quad is running.. How do you know where to set the float? at what height? I took it off a couple times..

do you have a manual? it should tell you in there...

Fuel comes in through the float valve, and sits in the bowl. The ONLY way it can leak through the overflow is if the floats valve isn't closing properly. It's really that simple.

This can have a few different causes. Perhaps your floats are sticking, and thus they don't rise to close the float valve. Or perhaps the floats are damaged, filling with fuel, NOT floating, and thus not closing the float valve. Or the floats are adjusted improperly.

The problem may be in the float valve itself. If it the valve or the seat is damaged, it may not seal properly. Or, if there is dirt or some foriegn object in the way, it may not seal properly. Or, the actual valve itself may be sticking.

Whatever the actual cause, the ONLY way it can overflow is through the floats, or float valve. The problem CANNOT be anywhere else.

Well i replaced the float valve. Theres no gas in the floats so i dont think there damaged.. Maybe it just keeps getting dirty. I guess i can clean it again.

mine used to do the exact same thing....i bought every part that i could replace inside the carb and it still did it... but eventually i got it. take off your gas tank and pull the petcock off and clean your tank out. and check every thing else for dirt inc fuel lines. also make sure the seal from your air filter to your carb is good this is generally not the problem but it doesnt hurt. if it still does it keep cleaning cause its probably some lil tiny piece of crap in your carb that is doing it.
