I'd love to help you out, but it will be a while before I can slip an FCR under the wife's radar :D

There are enough folks running the FCR on the board that I'm sure someone can help you out.

I've changed the needle in my FCR a few times - but it has been a while. If I remember correctly, there is a threaded retainer or screw on top of the slide. Just find the right size allen wrench to fit that fitting and remove the fitting. The needle should be right underneath it. If you need an exploded view of the carburator, you can find them on the internet. Try Sudco or Factory Direct Performance - I think I found drawings on one of their sites a couple years ago.

Just pull the top of the carb off, then I think there should be a little black allen head screw, take that out, then get a pair of tweezers or something like it, and pull out the needle.
