What color plastics?

Ok i have decided that the red plastics have to go and i am going to spray paint them and then clearcoat them,i no alot of people are against it but they are brand new plastics that i dont feel like selling and buying more new plastic,so im just going to paint these
its either going to be white or black
im leaning more towards white at the moment what do you think?

Black would be nice because you got the black swingarm, and lower a arms, but them it would look too much like what my 250r will look like, so I'm gonna say go with white.:rolleyes:

I'd go with white plastic, black frame, chrome Roll a-arms, chrome swinger, Axis all around, Hipers w/ white rings(too bad they dont make any), and a plain black gripper seat.

im not going to try and sell these,im painting them ,3 coats white,4 coats clear,should be good for awhile :o

why does the red have to go? imo it's the fits the rest of the colors just right

Unless you want to re powder coat your frame and a-arms I would say go with black. The colors of everything else on the quad don't seem like they would go to well with white plastics. Now, if you want to powder coat your frame trans blue and stuff like that, then white would look sick.

painting the plastics is going to end up being more of a hassle than anything else, it would be worth it to sell the plastics u have and then buy new ones in whatever color you want, then there will be no hassle of trying to touch up the paint when it starts looking horrible after a couple of rides

I wouldnt suggest painting if your doing any kind of riding to be honest, once the plastic flex's it chips, the clear coat chips, but its worth a try, IMO it looks fine and they r fullbores how can u paint fullbores :eek2:

I would never spray paint a brand new set of fullbore plastic, I think red looks fine but if you decide to change the color sell them and get black.
