well tonight started out like every other night friend picked me up n we headed out to empty parking lots n started rally racing well keep in mind this is a 95 ford contour 4 cyl with 130g worth of miles n front wheel drive n yes we can drift it around corners like no other but were comin round one corner n this noise like metal on metal starts so he stops then u hear horible metalic noise n the car wont go any where well we blew the tranny lol so now the car we had the most fun in is gone may it rest in pieces now to buy another car unless we find a cheap tranny owell ***** happens i guess

How does your Snake eat trannies ? It either has tons of Horsepower/Torque or you need to get your shifting techniques down better :confused:



i also know about screwing up a tranny. I hotrodded my jeep a lil to much. it was my first vehicle, now the tranny is a tad screwed up its driveable but its gonna go anytime it makes this funky noise when you let off the gas its pretty neat

I might eat trannys because all mustangs stock trannys suck nuts and it could also be the 490 ft pounds of torque going to my rear wheels.....

the trannys themselves are blowing up or your clutches are just frying?

No I blew up 3 stock T 46 Transmissions in my car before I bought the Tremic Tko 600 Trans. I have replaced the clutch once but it was not needed just i wanted a performance clutch and flywheel so i changed em. I wasn't just blowing out a gear or two in my trannys i was blowing every gear out because my car has too much torque and its pretty hard on the tranny when im shifting at 7 grand in a V8 RWD SVT Cobra. Ever since i put in the tko 600 i havn't had any problems:D

what mods you got that gives it that torque?

FUll exhaust: headers O/R X Pipe Cat back
ALuminun flywheel king cobra clutch TRemic Tko 600 trans, aluminum driveshaft

upper and lower pullers 65 mm throttle bodies Cold air intake
MSD ignition

Competiton Cams and a Paxton that whistles like a muthafu*ker
a ****load more like springs and tires and a bunch more but ill eb typing forever......u get the point.....

Oh HELL YEAH!! Glad to see im not the only one tearing up little rally cars like that!, Actully we took my buddies 95 grand prix and would pull the e-brake and them smoke the tires off of it! SOme pretty cool chit as well, The last time we did that, WE did the same thing u did, Heard a horible crack sound and so we shut it off.

Looked under the car and well there where chunks of metel, boiling fluid and gears laying under the car, We thrashed that transaxle. anyways 1100 bucks more his car is up and going again.

But it still has nothing on my Naughty Nissian! (aint that right 300racer)
