i have a 03 250ex and i was goin to get a fmf megamx exahsut k&n air filter and jet kits but i want to here someone elses opinion on the megamax before i get it
the reason im thinkin the megammx is because i cant get a exahuast that is real loud but i don twant it to be as quite as stock or anything i do some trail riding and i though i could use less disks for that(less noise) but i also do some track riding where it doesnt matter how loud you quad is (use more disks) does anyone know if the megamax is a good exhaust and how easy is it to put on and take off disks and if you put them on or take them of do you need to rejet, does it effect your mixture

i heard the hmf is loud and i cant get one that is loud is there any way you can quite the hmf but still have that deep four stroke roar

i think you can get a quiet core for the hmf

you can get a qiute core for the hmf but doe it make it real real quite like quiter than stock becasue i dont want it that quite

yes i understand about the megamax but does anyone know wat a hmf sounds like if it has a quite core in it is it qiuter that stock

No aftermarket pipe I have ever seen (or heard) is quieter then stock.

i agree...id say like a White Bros. E-series or HMF just about anything but magamax and DG...IMO
