i just put my TC exhasut on my 450r and i put a 165 in it and it still cuts out hard when i'm on it sould i go up to a 175 or is it something else???

Is the lid on or off of your airbox?
my brother runs a 190 main with the sparks pipe
and lid off. runs strong but I can't wait for my 416:macho

try takin the lid off or raisin the jet. it could be to rich cuz of the cold weather, also

if you are running a 165 main with the lid on, you would either need to take the lid off, or get a smaller jet , not bigger

they told me at dirt fiend racings that it requires a 175 main

ok i wasnt sure ccuz i got the 165 and it start alot nicer now but when i'm on it hard it dies

i just took my air box lid off and started up didnt get to ride it up jsut from revving it up it wasnt cutting out so hopfully that is what it was

you were right hopfully i can get a chance to run it tomorrow i never gave it a thought about no lid
