Okay guys, how much do you think I could get for my 400ex? I have some pictures below. I was thinking maybe 3500 at the most? Some guy around here is selling a cannondale for that much and I might consider it if I can get enough for this thing.

with all that aftermarket stuff, that sounds about right.

however, if you still have all the stock parts, you could probably make more selling the aftermarket stuff separately and selling the stock quad with the motor work for 2800-3000

No, I don't have any of the stock parts. I bought it like this pretty much.

Wasn't there some kind of problem with cannondales though? My friend said it was the oil-pump gears that went bad and the guy says he got new ones. Here's a description of it.

i had one and got rid of it 2 weeks later.

they are sweet quads, and definately one of the best ever made if it wasnt for reliability issues. Some people have luck with them, some dont.

mine just never ran right (random stalling at speed- caused a few accidents, clutch lever literally fell off, bad alternator, terrible engine noise) and it was really frustrating. i had quit racing and wasnt really riding alot at that point so i just bought a 400ex to play around with

does ATK still make stock parts for these things or would it be like a nightmare to find them?

The Cannondales are wonderfully reliable, just ask CDaleChick. :p
