Wait time for Synthetic

How long of a break in period should you go through before switching over to synthetic oil?

i waited 1 hour, then changed the oil out and put in mobile 1 red cap...now i run the gold cap

on a traditional auto engine wait 2500 miles.

the oil that comes from honda in the engine is synthetic so it should be no wait time. i use honda gold and silver from new and they are synthetic, just no moly on tranny side !!

I was unaware that it already had synthetic in it :confused:

ya...they dont use the GN4 when the come brand new..they use one of the gold caps i think
