So my parents got a mustang

Its a '99 Mustang GT Convertible, Fully Loaded, Power Everything, Pony Interior, 124k miles :ermm: its a 4.6litre with 260hp and 302ft/lbs of torque and it is the funnest car i have ever driven. It will do 0-60 in about 5.6 seconds. Now i gotta talk my parents into letting me drive it more ;) Does anyone else have a Stang ? How do you like it ?

Whats done to it ? This car is only 260hp and its hella fast i couldn't imagine almost doubling that. I wish it was a SVT Cobra R Mustang though so then it would be supercharged and 390hp but its still a fun lil car. and it gets like 20-22mpg!!!! which isn't that bad for a v8

I don't have a GT but I got a 1996 SVT CObra with about 450 Hp to the rear wheels. I still have a 1989 5.0 Mustang sitting in my backyard. I will always own a mustang in my life they got me hooked!

the guy who had it before me runs 13's and i can drive it better, i'll get her into the 12's real soon

1st and 2nd gear always spin all the way threw and its got 3.45 gears which are for top end so she's got plenty of power, lol

5-65 in 1st and 2nd spin the tires all the way and im up there before you even relize i took off, i've had it 3rd gear 85mph at 5000rpms, i think i can get it to 100 in 3rd and its a 5-speed

i need slicks and sticks are fun

this is the funnest car ever and im so glad I got it

That is just how the '99 GT is :ermm: Its all stock, couldn't really tell you why it doesnt have the tall hoodscoop. When i get out of school i will look it up and see what i can come up with. My parents are thinking about putting a shaker on it though which would be awesome.

my brothers buddy did the machine work then we assembled the whole thing. can really take it out much yet cuz of damn winter it also has trickflow heads trickflow intake an msd ignition.

my roomate drives a 95 GT with a built automatic, offroad X pipe with no cats and flowmaster muffler, a custom delk racing chip, cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, trickflow intake manifold, and soon he'll have heads and a cam...i'll try to get a pic up soon

I have a 2003 Mustang GT. Nothing done to it except for my most excellent Yamaha Factory Racing license plate cover. I also have an extra neat Ralph Wiggum air freshener! :D It's a manual transmission, power everything, leather seats, mach sound system. I love it. I plan on adding stuff once the warranty is up / the car is paid off. My only wish is that it was a convertible. Her name is Eleanor. She's shiny and pretty.

Some guy in town has a mustang pushing 700 ponies to the rear wheels? No clue who it is, but the auto mechanics shop next to us dynoed it for him. It's crazy. It's not a drag car or anything :S.

my old neighbor has a 67 with a 429 race motor. He built it and it is a big block and turns 10000 rpm. Ive driven it. Only drags at 12 sec. quarter miles cause its set up for road racing. it looked stock before the one piece front end that is now on it. haha

how many SRT-10 viper powered dodge ram's are there in your town?

how do those srt-10s hook up? my friend has a 2001 750hp lightning and it will not hook up at all. the weight characteristics are similar, and that lightning wont stay on the road unless you barely give it gas.

the srt puts the power to the ground quite well....................until you feather the clutch. It makes 500hp stock and 500lbs of torque. The truck is kinda heavy, which robs power, but the handling is far better than I ever expected. Definately a head turner and an exciting ride.................no disrespect to the pony car owners. They are a worthy ride too.
