What does everbody think is the most popular high performance atv ever?? I think it is the banshee!!!!!!!

raptors are most sold...look cool and sound cool with 660cc's but they can barely beat 400cc quads and handle like sheot...kinda sad

i would say 250r because mostly stock ones are still going for $3000

You cannot beat a 250R. I have a question for everyone, not to ruin this post, but I have a chance to get a beat up 86 250R that needs an exhaust pipe for $500. Should I save up and buy it?

Im saying Honda 250r and the Yamaha Banshee. 250r's took over racing, Banshees covered the dunes, drags and hillclimbs, while they both mixed inbetween those things as well.

TRX250r For sure, The Rs and the Shee pretty well took over every type of ATV racing! While the 250r where running the woods and MX tracks, while competing in hill climbs and drag racing, But id have to say the shee is a bit better for a drag and hill climb than the R, BuT GOD I LOVE THOSE 250Rs

On the original topic, I think the most popular "ever" is probably the banshee, but that's largely because it has been in production the longest.

I Say Banshee. Watch the price value of Banshees jump when the stop producing em in 06'......

Its some kid in my school who is selling it. I went over today and looked at it, the plastics are just crap. The frame looked slightly bent, and the tires were bald. I don't think the frame was messed up too bad, but I will get a better look at it sometime. I think I am going to offer him $300 and see what he says. Because I don't have much money right now.

so many quads have been based off of the 250rs frame and such, they will always be a legend and the popular with people who are familiar with quads

True, I'd really have to agree with the logic in this statement. The 250Rs are popular, no doubt about that, but they're not EVERYWHERE. When I go to the dunes on an off-weekend, or I go to a racing event, I'm often the only 250r there. If they truly are the most popular ever, wouldn't you also see them everywhere?

The YFZ450 is everywhere nowadays, but I think it's a little too early to claim the most popular quad ever.

Wherever you go, the banshee is there.

I dont think the prices of the shee's will rise at all. You can pick them up for a dime a dozen. There are many banshees around and that will keep the price down. Only reason why the R's are worth so much is because their pretty rare.

Banshees are probably the most popular quad of all time though. 250r with a strong second.

ill have to with the 660r,just do a couple things to them and they fly.no offense to the banshee fans but in my opinion they r the most ugly atv on planet earth.

the new 450s are popular but everyone knows what a 400ex and 250r are banshee id have to say is right up there too

id have to say the 400ex, 250r, and banshee, in no particular order. the 400ex is EVERYWHERE! or atleast around here they are:eek:

I think the Banshee and Warrior have the most units ever sold. Look how long they have both been in production and been unchanged.

Yeah, but nobody in their right mind is about to claim the Warrior is the most popular ATV ever. In fact, I would probably doubt your sanity if you even put it into the "High-Performance" catagory. :p
