the PRM BAJA is the best on my opinion.it is stronger than the AC's and DG"s and i think it looks better than any other.it appears to be wider than most but i never comparerd the width among them.

i think armadillo bumpers look pretty cool and they look strong

My brother has the PRM Baja bumper on the front of his 400EX. When he and I crashed into eachother head on his bumper sheered the mounting bolt but it didnt hurt the bumper. My banshee on the other hand needed a new a-arm and shock and tie-rod and......

LOL,is it just me or does it look like the right(left, looking at pic:D )wheel is sticking out on all three 400 ex's in the pics?

good eye moto93,this is a good example that beer, quad, and tree do not mix:D but if you notice, there is no harm to the bumper:)

I have the White Brothers mud screen bumper. I think it pretty much looks like the AC racing mud screen bumper. It was pretty cheap. I got it from marcums for 61 dollars and thats shipped to my door.

a lot of stuff from white bros. looks like other brands because it probably is minus the stickers.i noticed this on a lot of stuff from wb.skids, bumpers, nerfs and not to add all of the stuff they call theirs like their 440 kit,in reality an IMS kit,in reality is a je piston& rings, sleeve from la sleeve, and gaskets.their rev kit is only an xr 250 rev box with w.b. carved into it with an etch pencil for about $60 more.don't get me wrong they definitely make some of the best pipes but i think just about everything else they call theirs is actually manufactured be someone else.

I totally agree with ya there. When i raced karts there was about 3 different chassis companys with the exact same design only thing different was the name on the chassis. In reality there is only like 3 major companys in europe and they make all the chassis for us. So i know exactly what you are talkin about. Only reason i got it was it was cheap and looked good so i got it...........other wise i was lookin into a PRM products :D

My front end is off, so I told the dealership, and they showed me in the book that it said that was how it was supposed to be! (Right in the friggin service manual!). Something doesnt seem right... Guess I will be adjusting my own front end.

I just got an AC racing bumper yesterday for my 300ex and let me tell you that things a piece of garbage. It wouldent fit at all 3 bolts went in and the 4th hole wouldent line up for my life, then i got out the crow bar and bent tit so it would fit. But it is crooked so i loosed up all the bolts to make it straight and its still off. I just dont know... I bought the swingarm skid and i love it but those bumpers need help.

I had absolutely no problems with mine, it fits like a glove and looks like a charm.

Thanks for those who commented. Yes, those are stock shocks. I haven't quite dug up enough cash to fork over to Works yet. Last time i rode they didn't do too bad actually, a little softer than normal but i just didn't go all out either. Although I haven't been out on the track for about a month now due to a busted stock wheel (someone forgot to tighten a wheel the whole way up when we did the axle swap:rolleyes: ), i'm already starting to get cabin fever.

I had a DG for a while and thought it was fine until i actually crashed, well actually my friend crashed into me while I was standing still. Now it looks like it has down syndrom:ermm: ... o well

BTW is the Duncan a strong bumper? I always thought it was the best looking, actually i still do, but im probaly putting the stock back on or going PRM.:blah

Its better for the bumper to bend than have the stress set from the bumper to the frame on contact. I had a PRM on my old warrior and had an accident. Bent the mounts sideways before it bent the bumper :devil :blah

ARMORdillo (says it right there)

Well im sure you wont even get to read this far but i gotta say it anyways. i got an armidillo XCT my buddies got an AC mudscreen and a dg chromelite. the ACis bent from a tree about 3rd gear mid throttle. the DG i dont think has been wrecked yet but it sticks way out so im sure it will. and the armadillo i Can honestly say i have ran straight up pine trees with it and the tubes arent even phased. the aluminum behind it is horizontaliy bent down about 1/8 of an inc from the 400 rolling down a hill into an oak tree.

if the bumper doesn't bend something else is going to! Force transfers, just because you have a strong bumper doesnt mean it will take away all chances of bending in a crash, it will simply transfer to the next weakest point. Thats why I've never liked the steel bumpers, you really want your bumper weaker than your frame.
