View Full Version : Where did all the Hybrid quads go?? I want to trade MX 450r.

Where did all the CRF Hybrid quads go?? I had a hard time getting rid of all mine last year, and now I cant find any. I am looking for a Full Race CRF or KTM Hybrid. Aftermarket frame, LT suspension, set-up for MX and must be SHARP!!! I would perfer a 250r geometrey but 400ex will work also. I have a Full Race MX 05 450r that I will trade with.
If anyone knows of one let me know. Like I said I can trade my 450r or I MAY be willing to buy it straight out.

Yeah I saw yours. I have never had JRD stuff so i dont know about it. I would rather stay with something I have had. LSR, Houser, Walsh, Laeger(fat chance of finding one of the 6 though) I will consider anything I guess. How far are you from Gainesville though? We will be down there for the national in 2 weeks.

I really want an aftermarket frame. 450r has several parts but I wouldnt trade it straight up for an EX framed one.

Hey man i have a friend that has a very nice honda slash yamaha "Yonda". I dont really know lots about it except its fast. 426 bored to 440 i think. his name is yonda_boy on here or something like that.

jrd stuff is top quality stuff trust me you wont have problem and if u do thell help you no questions asked.(well besides ones that would help haha) but seriously youll be very plkeased with jrd stuff if you have any more questions just ask me.

There's a ktm520 on ebay right now but i don't have the link.He's from oshkosh,wi.I don't remember where i seen it.

Dude here is what I have and would be very easy to convert to crf . I have a Laeger wide frame with +2 lsr a arms (chrome) axis shocks all the way around with CR500 link and a 265 CT NAT motor let me know if you would be interested.

I saw the KTM on ebay already. I want an aftermarket frame though.
A 250r dont even come close to fitting the description but if it was set-up right I wouldnt rule it out. pm me some more info on it.

dude its a 2000 laeger wide frame CR500 link what else is there all the other aftermarket stuff on it is just extra the frame is what your after. "Laeger" need I say more. I can take up two pages listing all the aftemarket crap I have put on this bike if your interested.

here is a quad i found on ebay. it says its a houser framed yz400. couldnt get a link to work so heres a pic. just go to ebay and type in 400ex and youll see it. i think its awesome neways:eek2:

I already have a LSR YZ440 for the last time. I dont really want a yamaha unless it is something special like Leager/Walsh, or is a YZ450F maybe.
I check out ebay all the time so i have seen all of them.

Your last quads were SICK! Why did you get rid of them? None of my business, but you should have kept one of those.
I been thinking about selling my quad,it's a PRP crf 450 it has leager pro-trax front end crf 450 rear linkage PEP ZPS LT shocks,stock honda plastic.Fmf header with tc silicer.plus lot more.let me know what you think.

PRP flip top frame,yz250 kick starter on it,so you can start it with the fenders down.
crf 450 linkage,PEP ZPS rear shock
leagers +3 pro trax front end,pep zps long travel shocks.
shocks just serviced by baldwin
motor has the head flowed,fmf header,tc supertrap silincer on it,also have fmf ti 4 also
stock honda plastic with quad tech carbon fiber nose piece on it
dura-blue +4 axle
ac pro pegs
new holeshots tires rear beadlocks
works connection clutch and hot start lever.
walsh radiator
walsh gas valve
hardkor front hubs
rear wave rotor
quad was taking great care of!!I'm going to e-mail you some pics,let me know what you think.

if you try to put a crf motor in a 250r frame your gonna be riding something that is butchered and not gonna last...dude.
not saying laeger is not good but it just doesnt fit what hes looking for so relax dude....:rolleyes:

Yea, I have 2 actually, one with PRP a-arms and one with Laeger Protrax front end, both quads are PRP flip seat with PEP/ZPS big cannisters. Don't really want to sell either one, they are awesome quads, one with a brand new '04 motor and the protrax quad has a new '05 motor.

Hey Cody one of my buddies has a full Houser 450R quad with custom axis and full bore plastic. Im not sure if he wants to sell it, but i know he really wants a 05 450R, so he might. Im trying to get a hold of him now so stay tuned.

i am johnson23hondas buddy ive got a 2003 houser crf hybrid. it has the 03 motor and chassis, custom axis shocks fullbore plasitics clarke tank tag bars etc. wondering if you are interested in trading for your 450r. any pictures of your quad on here. let me know what you think. my email is honchevman@aol.com

A quad that is not in production. A lot of them have aftermarket frames with crf or yzf engines in them. But people also take 400ex frames and put different motors in the frames. Its pretty much just a custom quad.
