There has been alot of talk conceirning the new G-Force axle and how good it actualy is. Some people are unsure about how good it actualy is because of the low $199.99 price tag. We decided to try one of these out on Ralph2's new 450r to shed light on this new product.

I had several pictures showing the instalation of the axle but lost them because my old computer died so as for the installation everything went very smooth.

If you have installed rpm and lsr type axles in the past on your 400ex's etc, you need to pay attention to the sprocket hub. They arent actualy pressed on but they use a big circlip to hold it in place. You have to make sure to remember installing the clip because they do not come installed from the factory. This design is better in my opinion because ive had past experiences with lsr sprocket hubs coming loose etc so this system is a little bit of a fail safe and also makes it easier to change the sprocket hub if you needed to.

I cannot really tell you anything about the strenght of the axle since we have not been able to put any use to it, but im pretty sure comes with a life-time guarantee. The craftsman ship on this piece however seems A+.

The finish on the axle is a nice chrome plated finish which just tops off the whole deal with the low price tag. This axle is defianatly worth it for the money and i will keep you up on how good it holds up after some extensive riding is put on it.

The axle is adjustable from +2" to +4" using the basic spacer design.

I also like the pretty beefy sprocket hub it came with, you can also see the cir-clip in this picture by the sprocket hub.

Do they make an XC axle like RPM does? RPM's is -2 to +1 I believe.

From what Ive been hearin the G Forces have been bending. They are probably a good choice for an average rider that just wants the extra stability or looks. As far as mx use I dont think they are holding up as well as hoped.

i ordered one for my roomate, i only lasted about a week or two. he bent it landing from like a 20ft jump and it didn' t just bend a little. it bent alot. enough to break all of the chrome off on both sides of the carrier. but the good news is that i called them to complain and they said they would replace it. they paid all of the shipping and everything. haven't got one back from them yet, but i just hope its stronger that the first one.

And just how many times will they replace one? Is it only a lifetime warranty on the first axle?

im guessing first axle if your lucky....i cant see them giving out free axles to people just b/c they bent them casing a 20ft jump

They are Junk. Do not waste your money.. They bend really easy. Buy a RPM or LSR... My friend bent his riding in the XC.. I would not even imagine jumping on one.

well, i guess time can only tell, maybe they will get better with time too, if it does bend you can always get it replaced and sell it on ebay.

my friend got one for x-mas he hit fence post with he said he didn't hit it hard, but it bent. he is going to send it back for the "lifetime warranty" so we will find out who good the warranty is soon enough
