the problem is on a raptor which I cleaned the carbs on it about 3 weeks ago. It was running fine till the other night when I was ripping around in the snow. My bike seemed like it was out of gas and it stunk of gas. I know I had plenty of gas in it but I switched to reserve anyway. Once I did that it ran again. Got home and noticed that gas was pouring out of the overflow.
I know that usually means the floats are stuck but again, I did a very thorough cleaning not to long ago. I banged on each of the float bowls, turned the gas on and it still was coming out steady.

Any ideas??

this happened to me last week
unscrew the float bowl (s) detatch the fuel line from the tank
and blow through it. You probably have a piece of trash on your needle.

Do you think I have to take the carbs off? Or just try to take off the bowls?
thanks for your help!

I would try just the bowls first, may save you alot of time. Then if that doesn't clear it, take the carb off. If you take it off and hold it UPSIDE DOWN and can blow through the inlet line your needle is not sealing, if you cannot blow through it then your needle is sealing.
