thanks. i wasn't sure how the orange was going to look.

i am (getting a pipe) i just haven't decided what to get yet and wasn't sure how gncc was going to be with the sound testing stuff this year.

how often do you race? and what class?
how did you get sponsors? with the prices of parts, it's near impossible for the average person to set up his bike properly without sacrificing everything.

nice bike, man. looks really sharp.

like i said in my first couple posts i haven't really gotten to ride it at all since i got it all back together - except in circles in my driveway and up and down my road. i don't really like having to go the whole way to florida and race it without a chance to really ride it hard and get it dialed in, but with my work schedule and the weather up here and the flu i just got over, i don't really have a choice. i'll probably break down like 20 minutes into the race cause something will rattle loose or whatever, but i'm going to go and see what happens and if i break down then i'll just have more time to sit on the beach and check out the scenery at bike week. i only have about 6hrs of real ride time on that 450r since it was stock anyway. i just bought it on december 31st, so just getting used to it compared to a 400ex will be challenge enough :eek2:

about the pipe. they are only testing pro and pro am riders so if you're in any other class you don't have to worry about it. i would get something kinda quiet anyway though because i'm sure next year they will test everyone.

Nice!!! Hey did you buy those IMS foot pegs this year, b/c mine are on back order and it's been a month and a half. They said they had to make another peg just for the 450r b/c the 400ex ones move the peg back an 1/2 inch.

i pulled those pegs straight off of my 400ex

didn't seem to have any problems to me. maybe they do sit back 1/2" but i didn't notice any real difference.
