Finally got my R done

Hey everybody, I know you all like to see restoration pics. I bought this 4wheeler last september, and i totalled it in october... I guess I just loved it too much and rode the heck out of it.

Here is a pic of what it looked after a good day at the track. shortly after I purchased it.

yea.... sadly i got about a grand to go b4 its to my specs..... lol. but once i get her done..... its all fixed, no more worryin about when this or that will finally go out. I had it out tonight in the snow. and boy i knwo why i got an R.... ITS AWESOME! lol

What kind of plastic is the white version using? I am looking for new plastic for my rebuilt 86, but hate to pay for OEM...

I just got the Maier Plastics for it. I got the race hood and regular rear. I got a dixo carbon fiber hood scoop for a 400ex off ebay. I just cut a hole in the hood for the air to flow thru the scoop. the best prices i found for plastic are rocky mountain atv, or nacs racing. I shaved the rear fenders a bit so they dont come all the way down. other than that.... its just a big sticker on the plastic. i never want to put on graphics tho..... it sucks

hey looking sweet,is that pipe dented right by the kickstarter?and you going to put suspension on?

sadly... yes it is dented somewhere..... my 1 year old brother got ahold of it when it was in my room... Yea, i got suspension for it... its at the shops gettin revalved and rebuilt.. Ohlins in the front, and i got the stock rear shock that is revalved and setup. the stockers are on it so i can ride it.:D

Great, Good for you, Mine is killing me. I hope to get done in a month. I thought i would get it done in a week or two... Ya Right!!! Need to order this and that. This don't fit that don't fit.

I will... we are goona try to put works tripple rate springs on the ohlins shocks and see if it rides any better. the springs in the ohlins are kinda soft and i didnt get them changed... cuz funds got low at the time. should have them this weekend tho.
