Can you set the durablue x-33 too stock setting or is it just +2+4?

I have one, and NO, you can't go back to the stock setting. It's adjustable for either - 2" from stock or +4" from stock. That is, of course, assuming that you are using stock offset rear wheels. Using rear wheels with a larger offset with the -2" setting would bring you back pretty close to the stock width. Hope that helped a bit. :)

yes it helped alot.do you ever run yours -2 if so how much difference is it from stock.Not sure if my rims are offset or not they are douglas black label rims with razr tires.I think they set out farther than the stock ones.

For the type of riding he sounds like like he will be doing (trails or cross country), the X-33 will hold up fine. I've had mine for about 3 years now riding nothing but MX and haven't had a problem with the axle yet. I wouldn't exactly call them junk. Of course when it snaps, I'm going with a RPM.

yea you can make them. you can turn the hubs around and bolt thru the rim into the hub. that is how it is adjustable so many different ways
