How well would this carb work on a fully built 330ex motor ? Also could the stock 300 carb be rejetted to work with this motor ?

I am sure an elelbrock will run goo don a 330, bu tI just jetted my stock carb up to a 148 main with a stock size piolt jet, and it runs perfect. I think I will be trying a 400ex carb soon, to see how much more power it will give me.

A edlebrock carb with help out A LOT. You could also get a FCR which would be even better, expecially on a 300. If Can't afford eiather one of those I would get a stock 400ex carb.

Hondarydr4life you should try bumping your pilot to a 40.

I'd have a hard time spending 350 on an Edelbrock carb when its just barely bigger than stock(32mmx34mm oval vs. stock 32mm). If I was purchasing new I would probably try a 35mm FCR from Sudco made for the XR250. They are about 385 dollars but I don't know if the stock throttle cable works with it. But in any case, yes you can jet your stock carb for a built 330ex.

It seems to run ok like it is now, sometimes when I crack on the throttle it will miss a little. Which I am assuming is from it not getting enough gas from the pilot, which I believe is a 38??. I have a 40 which I will try out when I tear the carb back down when it gets warmer. Or I will put it in the 400 carb when I get one.
