im fixing to pick up a 02 400EX, aftermarket black, but was just wondering if there are any usuall problems that happen on a 400ex, i have a blaster but its really no fun unless im on the dunes where i can open her up, ive done about everything that i can do it minus alcohol and NOS, but i was wanting a good all around quad, my wife has a new raptor 350 i like it but when i rode this 400 it pulled harder and rode smoother, it has pipes and jet kit and k&n but i think i will leave it stock thanks for any input

i dont think the 400 had any problems hondas are extremely reliable when they are well maintained but you goin to have a built blaster and leave your 400 alone? i thought i would do the same thing but i couldnt resist the aftermarket

well i drove the 400 it has pipes and jet kit, but i might do some mods, i just dont want it to end up like the blaster, hell I cant really ride unless its wide open like the dunes, but i need something realiable but quick enough to beat my wife(i wouldnt be able to handle her faster than me) she has paddles for it but hardley ever uses them, the 400 just seems reliable and tourqey

stock 400ex will kill a stock raptor 350 AND be one of the most reliable machines out there while doing it

yeh i know its faster after i rode it, i was actually going to buy a 03 Raptor but just couldnt get used to it i will pick up the 400 on monday now i need to buy a trailer so that i can haul both at once, i prolly wont even carry the 400 to the dunes

alexandria aand kermit i bought it just have to pick it up on monday, my plan is to run the blaster till it needs another ring job then fix it and sell it then maybe mod the hell outta the 400:devil:
