no nuetral light

my friend has a 300ex and today in the pit you could find nuetral by shifting but the light would not come on, thus the starter did not work. we had to jump it to get it going, it runs just the starter wont work because the nuetral light isn't on. whats up with this, any sugestions???:confused: :eek:

Your battery connection is probably just loose.

Loose positive cable. Happened to me on the last poker run.

battery , or check where the wires connect to the bottom of the block on the rear break side.
