try some 2001 cr 500 clutch springs
that's what i did on mine and no more clutch slipping

no mine is burnt up BAD.....my mistake though i took it to my dads boses house to do some MXing and we went out in the woods...and i mean WOODS....and it was hell i dont think i ever let the clutch out all the way.....so thats why its so bad now....

i'd stick with some stock clutch plates and bring a 13 tooth sprocket next time when you go to dads woods....www.planethondaracing.com should be cheapest with good shipping prices...good luck..you may need to order a new gasket too but the 450r's clutch is easy to change because, unlike the 400ex their is just a clutch ocver instead of the whole sidecase

I dont need a 13 tooth sproket...as i race MX... im still not sure why i took it into the woods but i did...even with the 13 tooth sproket...i dont run any skid plates and i run 18 inch mxr4's on hipers...lol no woods riding for the 450r....and also it was my dads bosses house...hes got 130 acres of trails.....

you could replace the stock plates, and springs with a barnett dirt digger kit. that helped me out tremendously with my 400ex. i just scored a pro sponsor with hinson so i am putting a hinson full clutch system in my 450r for this season.

Hate to say it but the 450R needs a 13 tooth front on the mx track. 13/38 is where its at.
