I want to build a ramp 3Ft tall, 5ft wide, 6ft long (yes its small but dirt is scarce at my house and if its any bigger we wont have a big enough landing ramp. Do these dimensions sound right? Any one have some plans?

we are building it out of 3inch square tubing (thats all we have laying around) so if someone could help on how much lip and what not it would be appreciated! We want to start building tuesday march 1st!

theres probably not going to be much lip on a ramp that small.
If you want to build a real ramp go to metalMallisha.com, they got some plans of ramps there.
Good luck

might as well just build it outta dirt:blah: it just won't be movable,i understand all the advantages of a ramp, movable and light weight, and can easily be put somew where but ,u won't get muc outta one that small, but if u build it go ahead.sounds like a fun project anyways, not much to work with so the dimesions don't really matter but u can fix it to send u distance and height.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid159/pd74da93c986942eac31c55f5c640295b/f4ffa214.jpg

I just whipped up some plans on my Vellum CAD software (800$ program) and found the perfect lip for that small of ramp...a 15ft radius arc works perfect on that size ramp! I would post pictures but the software will not permit me to put it into a picture format...i can onlyu print off pictures:(

Hey can you see what the dimensions would be for a 5ft ramp? Post them if you do get them. Thanks

depending on how much lip you want i would have to adjust...this looks pretty mild.

Oh and what are the measurments for the spacing between the supports on the side and the measurements for were they would be placed? And how long are they?

hey man im building a 5 foot tall ramp right now (little by little when i can) its gonna be 12 feet long and 6 feet wide and yea 12 feet with a 35 degree angle at the top is better for a quad. Ill post pics ove rhte next few weeks if or as i get stuff done

Ok that would be great. I've just been thinking about building one but it's still just a thought.
