heelguards do offer better protection...but 99% of the time your not gunna get your foot run over through that little space. ive never ran heel guards on any of my quads..i think im just used to it by now.

your stock ones wont fit? maybe the ims heel gaurds will bolt up

true. it is a preference. i didnt run them with my dg's and had a couple close calls, then saw that pic and was on the phone with ac getting my propegs with heelgaurds the same night.

True, but I've never had a problem with my foot nearly getting run over yet, and I ride pretty hard in all conditions.
