Ring gap

whats the ring gap supposed to be on a 400ex

Why are you checking? Did you re-build it? It should say how much in a Clymer manual or some other book like that. Remember: The gap they specify in the book isn't exactly what it should be,but it can't be any less than what they say,but it can be more.
