HOnda or suzuki

Hey sup? a bunch of my friends have a z400 and they love them. but im a honda rider and will always be. they told me that they heard the 450r's arent reliable and afta a month u need to adjust the valves and they fall apart blahblah u kno. but i beat the **** outta of their quads and they are always fine. i hada honda 300ex and i neva touched anythign for the whole 6 years i owned it cept change the oil and new chain and sprockets. IS the 450 the same? if i kno honda it is? fill me in on how you like them so i can buy one. thanks

I may own a YFZ, but i like the Honda, very reliable. I haven't ever heard of any of the hoopla you posted, you will be much happier with the more powerful honda ;) or you could wait and see what the Z450 is like.

My friend has a ltz400 and i have a 450r. The suzuki is more comfortable for long days of riding, but my bike out powers him and jumps better by a long shot. In short, i would not give up my R for anything.

I have a 450r and all you have to do is change the oil every 2 gas tanks, and change the transmission oil and the oil filter every 4 tanks and it will run great. I moved up from a Z400 never felt happier my Z had a white bro pipe and the stock 450 would complete smoke it and then as soon as you get the HRC kit it really comes alive and makes you say holy ****
