OK. Problem. I've been trying to dial my bike in. Running a little lean. I have a Keihin Carb on it. Pulled the main jet out to go up a hair. It's a 170. Went to the bike shop. 4 of them actually. Can't find one. Come to find out, the jet is a Mikuni (screw driver type, not the 7mm). Anybody ever heard of this? Looks like there's an adapter on it. I bought the bike used so I may have gotten jacked. Any help? Thanks. Tim

are you sure it doesn't have a dynojet kit in it. those are the screw type and they come with an adaptor. i would bet money this is your problem. also, keihin does make the screw type jets too.

Thanks for all the help. There was a dynojet kit installed. I now have the stock hex jet back in. Thanks for the help!

I've got an '01 400EX. White Bros. rev box. DMC exhaust. Hotcam stage one. Wiseco 12:1 piston. 426 kit. Hope this helps. I switched back to the stock rev box. Not that big of a difference between the two. Starts easier. I'm 100% positive the higher output battery and the battery tender helped out! A must if you run your batery down. Tender is cheap too! Like $20 at NAPA.
