Well I'm about ready to sell my 400ex because I dont ride it very much anymore and would rather ride my dirtbike and I'd like to get a set of rims for my truck. Anyways i was wondering what everybody thinks i should ask for it
1999 Honda 400ex-Bored to a 416(dont know the exact specs on the engine work seeing as how i bought it already bored)Pro Circuit T4 slipon,White Brothers Rev Limiter,TwinAir Filter,Burgard Twin Row Bearing Carrier,Renthal Bars,cr250 clutch perch/lever,pb blockoff,IMS classic bumper,Pro Design Killswitch,Tusk Nerfs,some type of footpeg extensions bought from ebay they look to be derisi racing ones, Holeshot xcr-03 rear tires 90% tread, and i believe thats just about it.I think this is a lil bit older pic the bumper isnt shown

Man that thing is dirty, clean it a little, you'll get more! hehe J/K very clean man, yeah i'd say right around there, maybe $3300 if you found the right buyer

Man! If you could get 3400 for that, that'd be awesome. I know a guy selling a Cannondale Cannible with all the upgrades possible for 3500.

Thanks once again for all the compliments and price ideas. I really would like to get over 3k for it but I dont think I'll get much over 2600 but I dunno.

did u ever ride it? i dont see any flaws on that. i think u should be able to get atleast 3,000.

Thats real clean 3,000 is fair, but you could get more.

wow you guys are being generous. it is a nice quad no doubt but the market for 400s is way down. i wouldnt give more than 2600 for it. you might find somebody who would give you more for it.

2600-3000 is realistice i def would not drop below 2600 id expect at least 2800 but it depends on the person looking at it

no offense but its 6 years old and not alot of mods... plus people don't like motor work when buyin used...

I bet if you were to sell it up here in my area .... a quad like that would fetch about $4500- $5200 american ... no word of a lie . The way i have my yfz set up right now , it would net me about $9700 american up here . Just think ... a brand new yfz450 runs about $9799 canadian plus taxes .... nearly $11 500 canadian . I paid $8199 for mine which ran me $10 500 CND:ermm:

I would say between $2300 and $2700.I have a buddy that had a 99 and recently sold it(after 1 1/2 mo. in Wheels&Deals).Looked alot like your he got $2300 with an extra set of rims and tires.
