View Full Version : Beadlocks
I am getting rear beadlocks and everyone has tnhier opinion on which brand is the best. I just want to know which rear beadlocks are the best. I know douglas and burgard make them.
Im gonna be getting a nine inch rim and i want to know if getting a offsetted rear rim will affect anything because im running them on a stock axle

thats what i was thinking:p
new hipers are what, $180 each? a set of 8 or 9 inch burgards are $220~$240 for the set.
hipers are by far a superior rim, more so then any other rim on the market. but the fact is they arent cheap:p burgards are probably the best value on the market and hold up extremely well.

i like my douglas beadlocks they have been good to me. they are 9 inch and i bought them for 150 each. and about the offset, if you are keeping stock axle get whatever you want. but if you are thinking about getting a plus 4 axle and gonna race you have to keep the 50 inch wide race restriction in mind. i know NEATV is 50 inches and im assuming the other organizaations use the same restriction. i may have to customize 2 of the spacers on my 400 to take the back in about 3/4 of an inch sot hat i can pass the restriction. im pretty sure i just have stock offset but i really dont know.
That is probably what im gonna go with are the Burgards my sponsor has a connection so i can get them pretty cheap thanx for the help.
