Has anyone made double wide pegs for there 450r?

I just bought an exstra pair of pegs off this site and im going to cut the mounting brackets off of them and weld them to the back of my existing stock pegs.

I am wondering will there be any problems while riding if i do this? I figured id ask before i go out and start welding

might not hurt to cut of some of the tread on the back peg so you have alittle more movement, kinda like the IMS pegs.

i know someone did on here, they posted a pic of them. just weld 2 pegs together.

Dosnt seem too necessary, the 450r pegs are already pretty wide... JMO

Thats what I was thinking, now my 300ex on the other hand........
