Outlaw Ohio Harescramble

This past weekend I raced in a 2 hr Harescramble in Gailion, OH...Horrible conditions....mud, mud and more mud.

These fellas The Sunset Ramblers (http://www.sunsetramblers.com/) are really good guys. They allow trikes to race along with the quads. My friends invited me out for the races and I had a great time. BTW, don't underestimate the old Trikes...they took 4th and 5th overall. Anyway...if there are any of you guys here that still enjoy riding/racing 3 wheelers..check these guys out. They are going to have a Trike class for this summer's motocross season too. Should be cool to watch. Oh, here is a pic of how muddy it was out there....

Had a blast! Definitely a muddy mess. We tested a set of I-Razr rear tires. Very impressed with how they hooked up in the mud.

Yes it is a Kawasaki Tecate4...here is what it looks like cleaned up (this was taken the day before the race at my house.

BTW, I got some full fenders for it....just too lazy to put them on...and they look like big 'ole elephant ears on there....I don't really race XC or HareScrambles that much....I am mostly a Drag Racer, and this was kinda a spur of the moment thing...to support the track that supports my buddies that ride trikes....I love the 3 wheelers too, but unfortunately am without one now....

BTW, did you take notice of how well they did on the "unstable, dangerous death-traps"? 4th and 5th overall...not bad for nearly 20 yr old machines. :macho


I managed to do 17 laps on the Mean Green. Too much mud to keep hold of my grips....was afraid I would end up like so many others there....UPSIDE DOWN!!!! :devil:

Hey, Im just glad you guys had fun. I was on the gray and red warrior, my dads quad. It was alot of fun even though the weather was horrible and my partners quad did not run to great.

My dad is on the board in galion and as soon as i get the Flat track and MX schedule i will post them.
Word is that they may also have a TT track this year

hey i was at that race...what a mess took me a few hours to get all the mud off i switched goggles every two laps even with tear offs lol

Looking at all the trikes makes me wish i had my old "R" , i would have loved to race a trike with quads.
