I just ordered a pair of these for my 450r. For the price they are hard to beat, i've done some research on them and have found that people have had mixed feelings about them. My main concern is how they mount, which is independtly from one another. Most brands of nerfs connect together somehow, but today i was looking at old pics of the Cannondale moto and i noticed they the stock nerf bars mounted sort of like the tusks do. Anyone ever have any trouble or hear of anyone having trouble with the moto440 nerfs? I read on another site that a 200lb person could stand on one of the tusk nerf bars while it was mounted and it would support his weight! They sound sturdy enough to me?

Here's a pic of my Tusk nerf bars. I like them so far. I'm looking forward to putting them through some abuse this summer. The independent mounts seem to be very solid, but we'll see.

The Cannondale nerfs had a tube go thru the frame and a bolt just outside the frame tying them together. And a pro peg mount.
