It just got done hailing here in southern california......in the desert of all places...

for the first time this year the weather had been pretty normal here. that doesnt mean that its nice out or anything tho.

its because the earth quake that caused the tsunami threw the earth slightly off axis...thereby cause awkward weather....:scary:

I'm not sure about the strange weather part, but i did hear that the earthquake was soo large that it did knock the earth like .005 degrees off axis. This also causes the 24 hour day to be 23hours, 59 minutes and 59.987654321 seconds.. strage stuff... unnoticable ofcourse

yea its crazy like no other here in E-ville....one day its like 70 and then the next its snowing no joke. its freaskin crazy round here

its been pretty weird here in NW IL too. what really chaps my rear is when its like mid 30s or 40s and sunny all week, then when we are supposed to go riding on sunday (usually every sunday) it will snow or rain and get all sloppy on the surface so we cant go.

winter is officially no longer winter, its like a combination of fall, spring and winter all jumbled together.

and the forecast is, "who really knows? heck, it could be anything. be prepared for temps to dip into the teens while also simultaneously rising into the mid 40s with moments of sunshine"

the weatherman might as well give up on forecasts for a month or two, it changes so much from day to day that no one knows what its gonna be like the next day. they just wake up and decide what to wear/where to go/ etc.

temps dropped like 30 degrees in two days, we had an earthquake a few weeks ago that was like 5.0 on the rictor scale, which is extremely strange for around here

ill probably sound like a fool, but the movie the day after tomorrow, weather like that is kinda happening around here, i mean i watched the weather the other day and it said something about hail the size of golf balls,i mean its starting to sound a little bit like that movie lol but idk.

I know it was like in 40s all last week and was like 35 or 40 or so yesterday now its snow like hell here and we are looking toawrd another storm coming next week to, then the following weekend going back up to the 40s.

It wasnt the damn earthquake, those happen all the time. It hails and snows in so.cal. from time to time i think, ive seen pictures of monument valley covered in snow.

Dan how long have you lived in So.Cal? Nothing can be that out of the orinary yet, if youve only lived there a few years.

We have had weird weather up here also . It'll be freezing cold one day .... then warm right up and rain .... then plunge back into the freezing digits . We had snow , then it all melted ... snowed again then rained .... it did this a few times this season . The weather is deffinately changing . Look at all the huricannes last season .... the Tsunami ..... countries have have never seen snow have had snow fall . Countries where the temps have never plunged below the freezing mark have now seen this type of weather . And like whoever said it's kind of like the movie Day After Tomorrow are correct .... the movie was a little extreme , but it is happening to us .

Trust me ... it changing like crazy .... polar bears have actually started comming lower down into the country than before .... watched it on the news the other day and they interviewed scientists and asked the reason , and the answer was " Because of the weather patterns changing" Remember , animals are the first to sense change before humans .

hell 3 weeks ago here i could of been at the lake wakeboarding then last week it was in the 20's then just last wednesday it was almost 60 and then at night it snowed and thursday was 60 again

yeah, the weather is really strange. here in CT, it's 60 degrees one day and 15 degrees the next!!! i hate it... it felt like spring for like one whole week, and now its been snowing again... got like 1 foot of snow on the ground now

yeah its been raining at least twice a day here for like 2 weeks. Usually were extremely lucky if it rains even once a month

they say weather goes through cycles so who knows, i also heard the west coast was getting one of those el nino things which means possibly a dry east and wet west coast, its funny to hear on some of the forum people from so cal complaining they cant ride because its raining sounds odd to me since last summer it rained at least 3 times a week:p and were all use to it
