aftermarket oil cooler?

i just bought the perma cool 1008 atv oil cooler.whats the best way to tap the side case and head cover?i thought i heard when you do the side case the tap wont go all the way in?will i have any problems with a regular pipe thread tap?thanks.......jay

yeah ive seen a couple different threads TOO,and i did do a search.but they still dont answer my question.i want to hear from somebody who accually did it them self.i just heard that the tip of the tap will bottom out before you get done tapping the side case.if anybody knows what im talking about please reply....thanks......

You might try pm'ing the guys that did the installation. I know muff has done it, you might get a faster response that way.;)
