maxxis or ITP

I race in the Iowa atv harescramble series and i was wondering if anyone had input on what tires to get I was thinking maxxis irazrs or the ITP holeshot HD's. Let me know what you think

Cool man, I too am running in that series this year. This will be my first year, i will be in the c class, have you guy riding in it before and if so how is the racing, and ill prob see in you april 10th at The Farm/

the i's are the worst tire made imo....they do good for about the first 2 rides then after that, its like they have no tread at all...even after turning them around

go with the itps they last along time i have them on my blaster used for riding in the pits at the drag strip and even on ashfault they last along time and thats even with me doing burn outs with them :D

razr2 or irazr

if you've got the money, get razr2s or irazrs

if you want a good value and a really long lasting tire, get the kenda

if you want to buy new tires every 4 races or twice a year and have money to blow, get the itp.


holeshots are great tires, but they are so expensive. i know the razrs are the most pricey, but at least they last.

from what ive seen and heard from other racers get ITP HD's or razr2's there about the same time and will last a good while. the i razr's are great for mud and a sloppy track but wear very quick on hard pack or rocky areas. i run HD's and my 2 friends run razr2's

you can buy mxr4's for 50 dollars a piece
you can buy kenda for 50 dollars a piece
you can also buy some brand of razors for 37.00 dolllars a piece



so they are all in the same price range I would just get the highest ply rating, and be done with it...
